Our late model Mini Buses & Custom Built Trailers can carry up to 20 people with bikes. We service the ‘Clutha Gold Cycling & Walking Trail‘ dropping off you and your group at your choice of location (as listed below). For a complete package you can stay at our luxury Mata-au Lodge, Lawrence Townhouse or Oban Guesthouse. We also provide transfers to Alexandra, Clyde & Middlemarch.

Central Otago Van & Bike Trailer Hire
As well as our accommodation at Lawrence Townhouses and Mata-Au Lodge we provide a self hire bike trailer and van service. This lets you enjoy the Central Otago bike trails (Rail Trail, Clutha Gold & Roxburgh Gorge Trails) at your own pace. The van is self drive so you can either designate a driver for the trip or take it in turns to drive.

When you self hire your bike trail transport it means you can stay at the same accommodation for your whole biking trip without the need to pack up each morning. This is really convenient and makes your trip more enjoyable and easier to plan. There are lots of options to enjoy local trails and activities while you are here.
The van can fit up to 10 people and there is the option to bring your own bikes or hire bikes here in Central Otago – we can advise on the best options for your group here.
Hire Pricing
$350 per day (for a group of 10 this works out at $35pp, per day). This includes unlimited kms in your hire. Fuel is not included.
We also offer a Dunedin or Queenstown airport service. This is one of the easiest ways to plan a group biking package to Central Otago!
